HomeWelcome to the Roman Catholic parish of St John the Baptist, Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Ireland.
About Our Church
Our parish church is situated on the seafront on Clontarf Road in Dublin. 'Clontarf' comes from the Irish name, 'Cluain Tarbh', which means 'The Meadow of the Bull'. The sound of the sea crashing off the rocks along the former sloblands of Clontarf reminded people of the roaring of a bull.
Our church is fully accessible and has a loop system installed for those with impaired hearing. Church services are broadcast locally on the parish radio and on the webcam.
The priest of the parish is Fr. Martin Hogan
The parish pastoral worker is Deirdre McDermot
